MONTVILLE, NJ – Montville Township Recreation Department announced its summer Concerts In The Park schedule for summer and fall of 2023.

These free concerts feature music for all ages on Wednesdays starting July 5 and continuing through Sept. 13 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Montville Community Park Amphitheater. Rain dates are Thursdays, same time and location. There will be food trucks at the concerts. Specifics will follow at a later date.

July 5 - KOOTZ BAND

Featuring classic rock, pop, soul & blues.

July 12 - CARNABY STREET BAND

Playing the music of the 60's featuring the British Invasion.

July 19 - FIVE WHEEL DRIVE

Founded by Rich Parisi, a dynamic band that takes you on a musical journey guaranteed to keep you on your feet!

July 26 - Rob Trout & THE FLOUNDERS

Top hits from the 50's through the 80's including Elvis, The Beach Boys, Springsteen & Bon Jovi.

Featuring Montville's own Tony Mariani.

Aug. 2 - 3 SHADES OF GREEN

A mix of classic rock music mostly from the 60's through the 90's.

They play the music they grew up with and are as passionate about the songs as if they wrote them themselves!

Aug. 9 - STREET HASSLE

"Powerful Horn Band" with skilled area musicians that enjoy performing interpretations of classic rock, Blues, Motown and pop including Chicago, The Rolling Stones, Dusty Springfield and Tina Turner.

Aug. 16 - MIGHTY SPECTRUM BAND

Featuring timeless classics from Chicago, The Doors, Bruce Springsteen, The J. Geils Band, Elvis Presley, Van Morrison, and countless others.

Aug. 23 - ARENA Relive The Rock

Pays tribute to the big sound and power of some of the greatest rock bands of our time: Boston, Journey, Heart, Pat Benatar, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Styx, Foreigner, Queen, Foo Fighters, Alanis Morissette, Alice In Chains and more!

Aug. 30 - THREE DAY WEEKEND

Classic and party rock band playing a wide variety of music across the decades to make you move, dance, sing and rock. “We make every day feel like a three-day weekend.”

Sept. 6 - ROAD WORK

Classic rock, Roadhouse Blues, and anything else we happen to like. Chances are you will too.

Sept. 13 - BIG HIX

BIG HIX is the nation's most exciting, authentic, and fun country music tribute band! Composed of full-time professional musicians, the group performs non-stop high energy country radio hits from chart topping Nashville stars such as Chris Stapleton, Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Morgan Wallen, Hardy, and so many more, along with 90's gems from Garth Brooks and Travis Tritt, as well as choice old-school classics from the golden age of Nelson, Haggard, and Cash.
