PARSIPPANY, NJ -- The Parsippany Hills girls lacrosse team will open its regular season Monday, April 3 at home against Park Regional.
The Vikings posted a 12-5 record in 2022, a season that featured quite a few decisive victories, but which lacked a win in either the county or state tournament.
Parsippany Hills, which won the Colonial South Division title last year, will be moving into the Independence South Division this season, the third for head coach Mackenzie Hestevold.
Returning from last seasons winning squad are senior attack Madelyn Wright, senior midfielders Alex Wright and Alex Hockwitt, senior goalie Alyssa Reeber, junior defender Kimmie Jandora, junior attacks Hayley Kells and Stephanie Sibilia, and junior defender Hannah Cerullo.
Wright led Parsippany Hills in scoring with 103 points. She fired in 90 goals and assisted on 13 others, and also won a team-high 93 faceoffs. Hockwitt had 29 goals and a team-leading 45 assists. Kells had 15 goals and five assists as a sophomore.
The Vikings will follow their opener with a home game April 5 against Villa Walsh Academy.
