MORRIS EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION OPENS SEARCH

FOR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Morris Educational Foundation (MEF), a non-profit organization enhancing excellence in education in the Morris School District for over 30 years, this week announced that the organization is searching for an Executive Director.

The former MEF executive director, Joelle Servais, served in the position for two years and recently moved into the position of Chief Development Officer at Exalt in New York City.

Katherine Vizzini, chairperson of the Morris Educational Foundation said, “On behalf of the board and staff of the MEF, I’d like to thank Joelle for her passion for public education and enthusiasm as a proud MSD alumni, and we wish her the best of luck in her next chapter.”

The MEF is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic part-time Executive Director. The Executive Director will lead the organization to raise and distribute resources to enrich the quality of education for the 5,700 students in the Morris School District.

This dynamic professional will lead the organization’s fundraising efforts, daily operations, and execution of the organization’s strategic plan. The Executive Director will report to the Executive Committee of the MEF Board of Trustees (MEF Board) and work collaboratively with the entire MEF Board and staff to carry out the organization’s goals and policies.

The incumbent will bring a strong work ethic, positive attitude and a well-rounded array of competencies to build an effective management team and organizational structure that best serves the MEF’s mission, vision and goals.
